Come and Experience Fall Events Here in Howard County

Join us here in Maryland where fall fun begins! There are a wide variety of farms and places where you, friends, and family can hang out and enjoy all fall has to offer! These farms are packed full of fun activities, some of which include corn mazes, pumpkin patches, petting zoos, food markets, and so much more for you and your family to enjoy.

There are many great farms in the area such as Larriland Farm. At Larriland, there are many tasty fruits and vegetables during this season. They grow Asian pears, apples, pumpkins, beets, broccoli, kale, and even fall squash! You can get all of these fruits and vegetables by either picking your own at the fields or going into their local barn market. Picking your own pumpkins and decorating them, as well as a straw maze for little kids ages 4-6 years old are just a few of the cute fall festivities that Larriland provides for guests. They also have apple fritters and food trucks on Saturdays and Sundays, available for those in the mood for a sweet treat after a long morning of selecting and picking. Larriland Farm is open from Tuesday through Sunday 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. at 2415 Woodbine Rd, Woodbine, MD 21797. 

Another highly recommended farm in Maryland is Clark’s Elioak Farm located at 10500 Clarksville Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21042. This farm is open from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and they are open all year round. During the fall, they have a petting farm, pumpkin patches, wagon rides, and rides for little kids. This is an amazing location for new people or tourists to come to Maryland to visit. At this location, their pumpkin patches stay open until November 5, and they hold a “pumpkin-chucking weekend” on November 4th-5th where you are challenged to see how far you can chuck a pumpkin into the field. This is a perfect location for a family outing and offers lots of picture-perfect moments for you to capture.
