“I definitely feel unheard in my family sometimes because I’m the oldest. I have to stay home more than the other kids do to babysit or whatever when they don’t have to. And I get the whole ‘you’re old enough where your wants don’t hurt you”‘saying from my mom. To be fair, there’s only one kid in my house whose wants hurt him. So that’s just her way of telling me “too bad,” I’m out of luck.”
