What you should ask for
If you’re ever stuck on what to ask for as your Christmas gift, here are five popular items OM students have suggested for this year!
Let’s start with the iPad – I have one, and it’s the best thing I’ve ever purchased. You can do your school work on it, and since it isn’t as big as a computer, you can conveniently bring it anywhere. You can also make it resemble a computer if you buy a case that has an attached keyboard. There are so many tools you can use on your iPad that will make your life so much easier. OM student, Zamy’yah Scott, says you should get an iPad because “they are so useful and you can use them to communicate with your friends and watch movies.”
Next, you can’t forget your Apple Pen! This pen can be used in so many ways and you can pair it with your iPad to take notes. If you’re bored and want to draw, you can use your Apple Pen. Algebra teacher, Ms. Learn, recommends the Apple Pen because “they are very helpful to write on my tablet, on my screen, when I don’t have note paper… I can use it if I want to write something and don’t want to type anymore, and I can jot a quick note and it will be there.” This is such a practical gift that you should ask for this year. You can tell your parents it will help you improve in school!
Another gift you should certainly ask for is money! You can never go wrong with money and it is never going to let you down. Money will forever be the best because you can go buy yourself whatever you want. Senior Lelia Solid says, “I want money because you can do anything with money.”
You could also ask for fragrances like perfume or cologne. Some popular perfumes you may like are the Sol De Janeiro 68, Miss Dior, or Daisy by Marc Jacobs. You may consider Dior Sauvage, Tom Ford’s Vanilla Eau De Parfum, and Versace Eros for colognes. Freshman Codi Abigail says, “Perfume is a great gift because when you smell good, you feel good.” Fragrances are expensive, which makes them a great gift. So, if you want to impress someone, smelling nice will definitely get their attention.
One last thing you need for the upcoming Christmas season is UGGs! UGGs are very comfortable shoes, mainly worn in the fall or winter. Lots of people wear UGGs, mainly UGG tasmans. Our Hispanic Achievement Liaison, Mr. De La Mar, said, “I’m dying to get a pair of those UGGs, they’re cool. UGGs’ are very popular and trendy – no matter what color or style you get, they’re guaranteed to keep your feet warm and look cute.
This Christmas is going to be filled with excitement!! These ideas could also be used on what to give your loved ones. Take these into consideration for this upcoming Christmas and have a wonderful holiday break!
