2024 NFL Pro Bowl by Isaiah Johnson

NFC Wins 64-59

Well, here we are, we’ve made it to the end of another NFL season. The end of the NFL season means that the Pro Bowl Game, playoffs, and all pro teams have been finalized! This year, the Pro Bowl Game took place in Orlando, FL at Camping World Stadium on Sunday February, 4th. In addition to the game, there are mini games and other activities that test players’ skills throughout the week.

On Thursday February 1st, the NFL held their annual skills showdown, in which the players participated in various mini games and challenges to earn points for their respective conferences. The NFC led the AFC in total points and was winning before the flag football game on Sunday, February 4th. Winning in almost all categories, the NFC outmatched the AFC in everything but kicker tic-tac-toe which was won by Baltimore Ravens kicker, Justin Tucker. This was his seventh appearance in the Pro Bowl in his 11-year career. Speaking of the Baltimore Ravens, they had seven total Pro Bowl nominations: MVP front runner, Lamar Jackson, Center Tyler Linderbaum, Linebacker duo Patrick Queen and Roquan Smith, 2nd year Safety Kyle Hamilton, and Defensive Tackle Justin Madibuike. While this may seem like a lot, the 49ers were actually first in Pro Bowl nominations with nine total. Notable players include QB Brock Purdy, DE Nick Bosa, and Running Back Christian McCaffrey. While we won’t get to see the 49ers players in action due to them making the Super Bowl, it is still interesting to see how the top teams in the NFL continue to produce talent.
