Things seniors should do before heading off to college

As the school year comes to an end, many seniors are graduating and looking forward to the next chapter of life. Before they leave, there are some things seniors should do this summer before going off to college.

First, for the seniors who plan on attending a college or university, if you haven’t already done so, apply for housing and look for scholarships. There are so many scholarship opportunities available for many students, so be sure to speak with your counselor if you’re interested in learning more about your options. 

Second, seniors should spend time with one another this summer. Once everyone goes their separate ways, many of us won’t see each other for the foreseeable future. Cherish your time with your friends now and spend as much time as possible with them over the summer. 

Lastly, just try new things. Get a job, earn some money, buy new things. All in all, just have fun and enjoy being a high school graduate.
