Kate Bush is an English singer-songwriter who got her start in the late 1970’s/early 1980’s. Bush was born to produce creative masterpieces that are completely unique and have the power to sweep anyone off their feet and put them into a trance-like state. The songs completely engulf you and leave you wondering “what gives me the right to hear this god-tier music?”

She sweeps you in and traps you with her fantastic lyrics, iconic bass lines, and unique voice. She chooses her words so precisely in order to connect to the listener and make them feel whatever emotion she wants. She has this control over you when you are listening to her music, you can feel the words hitting you as if they are her superpower. This is shown at the end of “Watching You Without Me,” where she cuts her voice in and out while she is singing to her lost lover. It makes it seem like she is trying to get to that person but they are too far out of reach.
