Atlantic Division Teams

The Atlantic Division teams are The Boston Celtics (10-10), The Brooklyn Nets (14-6), The New York Knicks (11-9), The Philadelphia 76ers (10-10), and The Toronto Raptors (9-12).  In the past they have been considered to be one of the more lacking divisions, however, this year, there are many heavy hitters in the Atlantic Division. Players like Jayson Tatum (Celtics), Jaylen Brown (Celtics), Kevin Durant (Nets), Kyrie Irving (Nets), James Harden (Nets), Blake Griffin (Nets), Derrick Rose (Knicks), Kemba Walker (Knicks), Joel Embiid (76ers), Seth Curry (76ers) and Pascal Siakam (Raptors) are a handful of players that you should keep an eye for. Some early Playoff contenders that would be within this league would be the Celtics, the Nets, and the Knicks.

Central Division Teams

The Central division teams are The Chicago Bulls (13-8), The Cleveland Cavaliers (10-10), The Detroit Pistons (4-16), The Indiana Pacers (9-13), and The Milwaukee Bucks (13-8). Some notable players that are in the Central division are Lonzo Ball (Bulls), Alex Caruso (Bulls), Demar DeRozan (Bulls), Zach Lavine (Bulls), Nikola Vucevic (Bulls), Evan Mobley (Cavs), Cade Cunningham (pistons) Domantas Sabonis (Pacers) Giannis Antetokounmpo (Bucks), Khris Middleton (Bucks), Jrue Holiday (Bucks), Bobby Portis (Bucks), and Brook Lopez (Bucks). Playoff contenders within this division would be the newly revamped Chicago Bulls, as well as the previous winners of last year‘s NBA Finals, the Milwaukee Bucks.

Southeast Division Teams

The Southeast division teams are The Atlanta Hawks (11-10), The Charlotte Hornets (13-9), The Miami Heat (13-7), The Orlando Magic (4-17), and our own home team, The Washington Wizards (13-7). Some players in this division that have made an impact are Trae Young (Hawks), Lamelo Ball (Hornets,) Miles Bridges (Hornets), Kyle Lowry (Heat), Tyler Herro (Heat), Jimmy Butler (Heat), Victor Oladipo (Heat), Bam Adebayo (Heat), Jalen Suggs (Magic), Bradley Beal (Wizards), Kyle Kuzma (Wizards). Playoff contenders within this division consist of The Atlanta Hawks, the Miami Heat, and the Washington Wizards

Northwest Division Teams

The Northwest division teams consist of The Denver Nuggets (9-10), The Minnesota Timberwolves (10-10), The Oklahoma City Thunder (6-13), The Portland Trailblazers (10-10), and the Utah Jazz (13-7). Extra-Ordinary players that you would see come out of this division would be Nikola Jokić (Nuggets), Michael Porter Jr. (Nuggets), Jamal Murray (Nuggets), Aaron Gordon (Nuggets), D’Angelo Russell (Timberwolves), Karl-Anthony Towns (Timberwolves), Anthony Edwards (Timberwolves), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Thunder), Damian Lillard (Trailblazers), CJ McCollum (Trailblazers), Donovan Mitchell (Jazz), Rudy Gobert (Jazz), and Joe Ingles (Jazz). Playoff contenders from this division will be the Denver Nuggets, the Portland Trailblazers, and the Utah Jazz. 

Pacific Division Teams

Pacific Division teams have some of the hardest-hitting rosters and teams where they have the Golden State Warriors (18-2), Los Angeles Clippers (11-9), Los Angeles Lakers (11-11), Phoenix Suns (17-3), and the Sacramento Kings (8-13). Some very notable players that you would see from this division would be Stephen Curry (Warriors), Klay Thompson (Warriors), Jordan Poole (Warriors), Andrew Wiggins (Warriors), Draymond Green (Warriors), Andre Iguodala (Warriors), Lebron James (Lakers), Anthony Davis (Lakers), Russell Westbrook (Lakers), Carmelo Anthony (Lakers), Dwight Howard (Lakers), Devin Booker (Suns), Chris Paul (Suns), Deandre Ayton (Suns), and De’Aaron Fox (Kings). Playoff contenders from this division would be every team except for the Sacramento Kings. Sorry Sacramento fans.

Southwest Division Teams

Some of the teams in the southwest division have many diamonds in the rough, and consist of the Dallas Mavericks (10-8), Houston Rockets (3-16), Memphis Grizzlies (10-10), New Orleans Pelicans (5-17), as well as the San Antonio Spurs (5-13). Some notable players that come out of this division are Luka Dončić (Mavs), Kristaps Porziņģis (Mavs), Jalen Green (Rockets), John Wall (Rockets), Ja Morant (Grizzlies), Zion Williamson (Pelicans), and Brandon Ingram (Pelicans). Playoff contenders from this division would be the Dallas Mavericks, the Memphis Grizzlies, and the New Orleans Pelicans.
