On December 5, 2020, U.S Army 2nd Lt. Caron Nazario, who is Black and Latino, was pulled over while in uniform by Windsor Police Officers Joe Gutierrez and Daniel Crocker.  A lawsuit from Nazario was filed on April 2, 2021.
