If you haven’t heard lately, 55-year-old Angela Kukawski, business manager of the Kardashians and many other celebrities, has died. She was reported missing on December 22 and was found on December 23 inside of her car in Simi Valley, California. The suspect of her murder is her boyfriend, 49-year-old Jason Barker. Kukawski’s death was ruled as a homicide. 

Angela Kukawski was a business manager who worked in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles. Some of her clients include Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Offset, the Kardashians, and she also worked with the estate of Tupac Shakur. Kukawski was a mother of 5 and according to many of her colleagues, she was “beloved” in the industry. “Angie was a kind, wonderful person, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Our deepest condolences go out to all of Angie’s family and friends”, Todd Bozic had said to Variety. 

Barker was arrested and charged with murder on December 28. The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office had ruled Kukawski’s death as a homicide. According to a Ventura County coroner, Kukawski died from sharp injuries to the head, neck, and also from strangulation. On January 12, 2022, Jason Barker went to court to confirm his identity and to read his rights. His next court is to be set on February 23, 2022. 

Many of Angela’s clients have paid their respects to Angela. From Offset, Nicki Minaj, and also the Kardashians. Nicki Minaj stated in an Instagram post, “Hardest working, most reliable, sweetest person you could ever know. You didn’t deserve this, Angela. My heart is breaking for your children. Rest in peace”.
