This week, Narnia is coming to OM! On November 17th, Oakland Mills’ Theater Company will be putting on the play The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe based on the 1950 novel of the same name by C. S. Lewis. In the play, the Pevensie siblings travel through a wardrobe in an old mansion and arrive in the fantasy world of Narnia. While there, the siblings run into trouble with an evil witch who exerts excessive control over the land and its inhabitants. It’s up to the Pevensies to save Narnia!
“I am most excited for everyone to see the level of commitment that the students have put forth into this production. Oakland Mills Theater has a very special place in my heart and to see the level of commitment, technical prowess, erupt out of the show, is really really awesome,” said Ms. Hoffen, the director of the show and theater teacher at OM. OM’s production of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe stars Chloe Vines as Lucy Pevensie, Berry Powell as Peter Pevensie, Tyler Cummings-Green as Edmund Pevensie, and Cassidy Vines as Susan Pevensie. The show runs from the 17th to 19th at 7PM and a 2PM matinée on the 19th; so, if you want to find out what happens, get your ticket at hcpss.booktix.com before it sells out!
