Finding Harmful Drugs In Your Halloween Candy

Halloween is right around the corner. Everyone is excited about all the new costumes, tricks, and especially treats. Many are excited for treats, especially the king sized candies such as Hershey’s, KitKats, and many more.While we all are excited about Halloween, there are some things we should keep in mind and be careful of. Surprisingly, one of the main things we should watch out for is candy! 

Taking candy from strangers can be a huge risk. Many candies have been laced with fentanyl prompting a lot of news coverage towards those candies. These fentanyl laced candies are fooling everyone, especially the young trick-or-treaters. The fentanyl laced candies are known to have a bright colored coating that is ultimately used to trick the treaters into thinking the bright colored coating is just another safe candy to consume. Fentanyl laced candies are known to cause health hazards and even death with just ONE candy known to kill a person.

Overall it is important to keep in mind and be careful of the candies that you, your friends, and your  family will be getting while trick-or-treating this Halloween. Most importantly, stay safe while eating and consuming candies from strangers and make sure not to trust any candy that you may believe has been tampered with.
